its quite funny when i look at my blog and it still says 14 years old. the oldest post was from 2005, which is when i was primary 6! and I didnt blog at all last year cause it was suppose to 'close shop'. its even more hilarious when i read my past post, seeing the way i wrote and the things that happened that i couldnt even remember. HIAHIA.
its almost a year since i've come to Vancouver. theres the good, theres the bad. overall i'm not as steady anymore. there were so many thoughts entering my mind but they are gone before i can catch them. daddy told me to jot those thoughts down. its a good practice, but i find it a little of a hassle. There are so many things to say but i dont know where to start.
yayyyyy i was terribly homesick yesterday, so it gave me some motivation to blog.
i remembered being anxious to grow mature, to be less childish in my thoughts speech and action. But what i want now is the opposite. i wanna slow down, i wanna run back to the playground and play for a bit longer. just whine and complain a little more.
you always hear alumni teachers who come back to teach at the school telling us to cherish the carefree student lives we have. but we dont understand- we complain.. complain.. and COMPLAIN SOMEMORE about just anything and everything. only when we finally experience the process, then we realise how precious the advice was. but at the instant of realization, you've already wasted some time of your life, and you really hoped somebody was there to tell you the same thing again. thats why i told loon and faye the same thing: cherish. its not that all fun to grow up (x
we were talking about universities in class, and Julia gave me an advice: Do what you love.
:D
I just read this:
"How often we see others as if we were still in the past. We judge them from how we think they were, so that they never are, and never will be. Relationships simply fail this way, even before they can begin. We too have to leave our past behind. " -Piya Tan
